We are urgently seeking an additional Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to become part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of an Integrative Wellness Practice. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us. The candidate would be a medical provider (PA or NP) who is looking for an opportunity to work in the exciting field of integrative Physical Medicine/Regenerative Medicine/Functional Medicine. The experience you will gain with us will be invaluable for your entire career. Regenerative Medicine is the future of medicine and it is here now. We are looking for someone with confidence, great bedside manner and lots of experience conversing with patients. We are a small, growing private practice where patients are treated like family.
NO NIGHTS, NO ON CALL, and NO WEEKENDS. COMPETITIVE PAY FLEXIBLE WEEKDAY SCHEDULE (PART TIME).
Responsibilities:
- Perform Joint Injections, Blood Draws, Nutrition IV Therapy. (training provided).
- Perform comprehensive Functional/Orthopedic Examinations of Patients (training provided).
- Perform Comprehensive Physical Examinations of Patients.
- Communicate and collaborate with other providers (NP, Chiropractors, Personal Trainers) regarding patient care.
- Evaluate and treat for Hormone Optimization using Bioidentical Hormones.(training provided).
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments. (Note: NO opioids, NO cortisone)
- Ordering films, Labs, and reviewing diagnostic tests.
- Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound Joint Evaluations (training provided)
- Develop and implement patient management plans.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be Licensed NP or PA in the state of California (Required).
- Must have valid DEA license in CA.
- National Certification Required.
- Ability to perform or learn to perform joint injections (experience desirable, not required).
- Ability to Interpret Lab Results
- Ability to work with diagnostic ultrasound (desirable, not required, will train).
- Interest in Regenerative Medicine and/or Functional Medicine.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
