Desired Skills/Experience

• Core Java development experience: should be familiar with Classes, Objects, Operators, Data Types (primitive and non-primitive), execution processes, garbage collection, variables, interfaces, OOP.
• Current-Recent Experience integrating SSO (single sign on) solutions into java applications, experience with SAML (and related XML coding), should have familiarity with OpenIDConnect, IAM, WSo2 open source, Spring Security, OAuth, or similar.
• Experience integrating custom SSO or off the shelf customizable SSO solutions into new or existing core-java applications.
• Experience writing Java based code/applications/API's that ingest and relay very large amounts of data
• Experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot; Experience with Hibernate is preferred
• Experience with REST Web Services, JSON and/or XML
• At least some JavaScript experience including javascript libraries, tools or extensions.
• Experience using Git, SVN or similar tool
• Experience or Willingness to work in a CI/CD environment working on a mixture of new (Greenfield) and existing code
• A College Degree in Computer Science or a Related Field is preferred.

Pluses: (not required, nice to have)

• Experience coding Java on a Cloud Platform (AWS or Azure) and using containerization tools
• Experience with Red Hat's Key Cloak for Restful Web Services.
• Experience working in a similar (java focused role) for an enterprise software company.
