Job Description:

PTC - Psychiatry Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team at our Beverly Grove location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient psychiatric care with a particular emphasis on medication management.

As a part-time member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and collaborating on cutting-edge treatment modalities in an outpatient setting. You will also be involved in the administration and management of patients undergoing ketamine nasal spray (Spravato), and potentially Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments in an outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement medication management plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer and monitor patients using ketamine nasal spray (Spravato).
• Collaborate with the team in planning and possibly administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
• Ensure continuity of care by maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
• Educate patients about medication regimens and treatment options.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active and unrestricted NP license in California.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in outpatient psychiatric care with a focus on medication management.
• Experience or willingness to work with ketamine nasal spray (Spravato) and TMS.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in outpatient psychiatric settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
