Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team at our state-of-
the-art facility in Lake Grove, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for performing both
screening and diagnostic mammograms, conducting quality control testing, and ensuring patient
care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly QC testing to maintain high-quality standards in
mammography.
- Operate mammographic and other related equipment proficiently.
- Position patients correctly and use immobilization techniques when necessary.
- Select appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
- Maintain a calm and reassuring environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Current ARRT(R) certification
- NY State licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Mammographic Radiologic
Technology.
- BLS Certification (Preferred).
- Experience with state inspections and QA/QC testing.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
- No nights or weekends.
