Morrison Center is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team (e.g., teachers, ed-techs/BHPs, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists). SLPs will gain experience with AAC, feeding and swallowing, articulation, language, dysfluency, pragmatics, and hearing. SLPs will provide services to a diverse student population – ages 5 to 22 – with varying impairments including but not limited to: Cerebral Palsy, Apraxia of Speech, dysarthria, Intellectual Disability, Down syndrome, nonverbal/verbal ASD, Dysfluency, Epilepsy, ADHD, Deaf/Blind, dysphagia, and genetic disorders.
This is a year-round position, therapists will work 233 school days/year including summer. The school calendar has 22 vacation days and 9 holidays built-in and staff accrue 8 additional discretionary paid time off days.
Requirements
State licensure via State of Maine as a Speech/Language Pathologist is required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by ASHA is required.
