Responsibilities include:

• Analyze, design, modify, and develop real time custom automation control programs in C# and MS SQL Server
• Employ best practices and QMSI coding standards for existing and new projects
• Work directly with customers and other QMSI departments during project development, deployment, and support
• Independently perform field installations (average 35% travel per year; can exceed 50% over a give 6-month period)
• Troubleshoot complex issues
• Mentor junior developers and lead small project teams

Minimum Job Requirements include:

• Ability to code in multiple high-level languages (C# a plus)
• Ability to install and configure Windows operating systems
• Ability to test and debug code written by others (without re-writing it), to perform software integration tests from written test procedures, and to identify need for, and develop test programs for module testing critical code segments
• Knowledge of at least one database product (MS SQL Server a plus)
  • Ability to create tables and stored procedures
  • Proficient with SQL – ability to query and manipulate test data in a database
• Ability to prototype development for new technologies
• Good familiarity with network structures and tools
• Ability to write small software quotes and review larger quotes.
