Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to support their local facility in the Quad Cities area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in the scope, schedule, and full-cycle management of projects. From initial consultation and discovery with clients to technical engineering to project completion, you will lead and oversee a variety of project sizes and scopes. We are looking for a technical, collaborative, and entrepreneurial professional who can come in immediately to take over and begin contributing!

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate with stakeholders on each new project's cost, schedule, and functionality
• Coordinate efforts across engineers, technicians, plant personnel, and contractors
• Keep those project goals in line: cost, schedule, and functionality
• Propose new programs to keep equipment and processes technologically advanced
• Evaluate existing processes and equipment, making recommendations to save money and improve quality
• Train other engineers and plant staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering or related field
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge of the bid process, requesting quotes, and developing proposals
• Experience with equipment installs and commissioning of new equipment
