Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our client headquartered in Greer, SC. Our client is a leading global supplier of powder and pellet mixers, with applications in the plastics, powdered paints, chemicals, construction materials, nutraceuticals, and food industries. They are known for their innovative mixing technology, setting new standards for laboratory and production mixers. With decades of expertise, they continue to provide cutting-edge solutions to their customers worldwide.
Location: Remote (preferably in the Mid-West), with 50% to 60% travel required

Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Responsible for expanding sales within the assigned region by targeting key customers and markets utilizing mixer machinery.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations, understanding their business needs.
- Business Development: Develop multi-functional teams with internal and customer teams to identify new business opportunities and overcome competitive challenges.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead the negotiation of pricing and contracts in line with company policies and customer requirements.
- Sales Tracking and Reporting: Track all sales activities, maintaining communication with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails. Provide detailed reports on sales performance and customer feedback.
- New Business Development: Work with prospects to identify their needs, demonstrate the benefits of partnering with MIXACO, and drive new business.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints and issues, ensuring that the products and services meet quality standards and requirements.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in industry expos, trade shows, and conferences to enhance the company's visibility and market presence.
- Travel: Travel up to 50%-60% to meet clients, attend trade shows, and coordinate regional business activities. The ability to travel to Canada or Germany may be required.
Qualifications:
- Education: College degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field. Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the plastics industry or industrial equipment sales.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), representative agents, or plastics manufacturing (compounding, color masterbatches, powder coating, profile/film production, extrusion lines, and auxiliary equipment).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to present and negotiate effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand customer quality requirements and product usage to resolve issues efficiently.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and drive personal success within a sales environment.
