A fast growing, high transaction volume company in the Atlanta market is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Controller to oversee our company's day-to-day financial processes and reports. This role has a strong emphasis on accounts payable, operating expenses, inventory controls, and payroll processes. This position also manages a team of financial analysts and oversees financial information and metrics across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

• Present financial reports to senior management, providing insights into key financial metrics and trends

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans

• Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing recommendations for corrective action

• Manage and optimize cash flow to support daily operations and strategic initiatives

• Ensure robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets

• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement

• Supervise and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture

• Provide guidance and training to team members, promoting professional development

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decision-making

• Evaluate the financial impact of various business initiatives and provide strategic recommendations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Controller, Financial Manager, or similar role in a high transaction volume environment

• Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Quickbooks and/or ERP system) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high transaction volume environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
