Zen Tubing Associate – Seasonal (May–September 2025)
Looking for a fun and adventurous summer job?
Zen Tubing is hiring energetic, customer-focused team members including CDL Shuttle Drivers for the 2025 season! Join us from May through August and spend your summer helping guests enjoy the magic of floating down the French Broad River.
What We’re Looking For:
Must be 18 or older
CPR is a plus
Comfortable in the water and assisting guests in and out
Able to lift and move tubes and other equipment
Background in kayaking, rafting, or outdoor recreation is a bonus
Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong customer service skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting guests during check-in and check-out
Helping customers safely enter and exit the river
Managing and moving tubes, paddles, and life jackets
Connecting and disconnecting groups on the river
Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment
Supporting a safe, fun, and memorable guest experience
Working outdoors, on your feet, and in the water
This is a physical, hands-on role, expect lifting, bending, water exposure, and plenty of sunshine! You’ll need river appropriate footwear, quick-dry clothing, and a positive attitude.

Tubing with us is simple and enjoyable! Just park your car, check in, and we’ll take care of the rest. You’ll hop on a shuttle that takes you upstream to the starting point, where we’ll provide your tube, personal flotation devices (PFDs) optional for over 13 years of age, and a paddle for your group. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll be all set to relax and enjoy your float down the river!
Along the way, stop to swim, enjoy a cold beverage and soak in the stunning scenery of the French Broad River. To keep the good times flowing, we offer cooler carriers and straps, so you can keep your group connected as you float together. It’s the perfect way to relax, refresh, and create lasting memories.
Your car will be waiting for you at the end of the float, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish.
