Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
2. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against opponents.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis, and develop litigation strategies tailored to each case.
4. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming to resolve disputes as efficiently and favorably as possible.
5. Collaborate with a team of attorneys to discuss case details, develop defense strategies, and coordinate litigation activities.
6. Provide legal advice to clients, explaining the potential impact of legal proceedings on their business operations.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to business litigation.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business litigation, with a proven track record in trials, motions, discovery, and settlement.
4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically about legal issues.
5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with a knack for resolving disputes favorably and efficiently.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
