Volt is immediately hiring Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.
As Software Engineer you will:
This is a 9 Month full time Contract with possibility of Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret

Volt is immediately hiring Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.
As Software Engineer you will:
You will develop, implement, test, and maintain an infrastructure adhering to Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, Configuration Management (CM), and customers’ requirements for the Red LAN program.
Utilize Python and Java software languages to develop satellite ground control systems.
Agile Development within a cross-discipline team.
Continuous integration, testing, and delivery within a CI/CD pipeline.
Utilize microservice containerized software architecture.
Utilize Kubernetes, Docker.
Decompose complex requirements and capabilities into executable discrete user stories.

The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret
Required Experience:
5 + years of experience utilizing Python for software development.
3 + years of experience utilizing Java development processes.
2 + years of experience in developing software unit tests and automated functional testing.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of experience with open-source software development experience.
5+ years of experience with fine tuning Kubernetes and the underlying host OS for optimal performance in a low-latency environment.
5+ years of experience troubleshooting software and network integration during platform deployments.
Proven ability to plan, schedule, and deliver quality software.
Experience and ability to support Government security requirements and best practices for software delivery involving system accreditation.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment utilizing Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) or similar tools.
Pay Rate: $70.00 - $77.00 per hour
